One thing I have learned about driving up here is that even Texans/Californians find their way here.

When snow falls fast like 6-12 inches in a few hours, it is almost impossible to drive on. I don't care what speed you are driving. Here in Colorado back before Christmas we had 2 snow storms back to back and the last one forced me to stay at a friends house overnight. I will take Texas ice any day.
As far as the video is concerned. Most those people were going to fast and don't know how to turn into a spin/fish tail. The ones that were going airborne into peoples yards tripped me out.

I can only assume this is in an area where it never snows? The awkward conversations that took place on that day...
Not all of that was moronic behavior. For the first few vehicles going down a hill like that where the road is complete ice it can be deceiving. Even at 5mph there's no way to slow down and speed builds. For the others who may have seen the cars all piled up they may not of had a choice. It may have been too late to try and reverse out especially if there was traffic behind them. It's almost like watching lemmings...

Most people's problem is sudden change in brake/accelerator pedal pressure and/or trying to turn too quickly. Anything sudden is going to cause shit like that. It amazes me that these people just fell in line, one after the other, after seeing all the other people down there in trouble.
