That and you can't get shit for them at auction, every used car dealer avoids them. They were walking away like the plague.
What lender would finance an 8-9 year old vehicle anyways? I've owned other American made vehicles that shit the bed before 50K.

^ exactly. Most owners are rich bastards who don't do any maintenance on them. The older Rovers had pretty much a tweaked Buick pushrod motor. I've had mine for a year and I've loved every minute of it. Yes it requires more wrench time but I didn't mind at all. Pre '03 they are pretty much fancy Jeeps. Once the air suspension and T/C took over it was a mess for a bit.

3 amigos...easy fix in the brake modulator. I'm still on the original HG's. I've got a 2 inch lift, but the ones with 3 inch and Mud Terrains look really good.

Yeah Defenders are nice, but expensive.

Hood needs to be repainted and I think when I flushed the radiator last month I installed the thermostat backwards so it runs about 10° hot when its in 95+ degree temps. Oh and the drivers side shock is shot but I have a set of 4 OME nitrocharger shocks in a box ready to go on. That's all I'm aware of.

And 14-15 MPG. And I bought a 2013 GT and I need the garage space. (Tons of extra parts)

Hahah bought it with it on there. The guy had a buddy with an H1 that talked a lot of shit and he got stuck and the Disco pulled it out. He found that online and bought it.

Does it use oil or coolant? Did you not fix your mistake on the thermostat? Or do you just let it run hot? You may have air in the coolant system. When you flushed it.

See, this is what I'm talking about.

Dude it just started doing that last week and I have an ultragauge. It happened twice when I was sitting in traffic on 35 when it was 95+ for no more than 5 minutes. When I started driving it cooled off again. Bought a new car and I haven't driven it since. I probably just need to burp it or I put it in backwards which I'm VERY sure you're aware of is an easy fix. No it does not use oil or coolant. You really got to be like that to a fellow Rover owner?

mine is doing just fine. had a leak when i purchased it and it was fixed as part of the purchase and nothing is leaking as of right now. wife drives it everyday and i drive it a lot on the weekends. gets 15-16 out on the highway. has not left us stranded anywhere. a/c blows cold. great buy at $2000. i also know the previous 4 years it was owned by a land rover service writer (step father) and before that owned by the general managers family so it has been taken care of.

                        also has 123k on it
