i never was the biggest fan either but a good running clean vehicle with no current issues for 2000 i couldn't pass it up

Those damn things blow headgaskets like crazy. I had 3 of them repo because of that. They all sold between $600-1500 at auction. Every used car GM told me they wouldn't touch them because they are too much of a liability. I like how most bash a vehicle they've never owned or wrenched on. I've driven my 03 D2 since it was new. I've got 145K on the clock, and it's the best vehicle I've ever owned.
If you can learn how to maintain them and turn a wrench, they're great vehicles.
