new wheels for the truck
01-21-2012, 10:59 PM
I finally picked up a new set of wheels and tires for my truck. I plan to lower it a bit more in the future.

Yep 338 18x8 255/55-18 tires. They are a little narrow, but they are functional in sense of being able to rotate them to get all the life I can.
Yes it is very slow, has a basically stock 305 in it. Want to eventually put an ls something in it.

funny how some wheels can wake up the looks of a vehicle....
338s are the best bang for the buck.
$1000 for the set with tires?

looks like the rears sit deeper in the well than the fronts, is that just the shadows playing tricks on me?
other than that they look great.

GM was kind enough to make the front track wider than the rear. My little truck is the same way.

Yup go to eBay and look up Boss 338. They also have a few other good looking wheels. 335 maybe...

thanks guys. yea the rears set about 1 inch inward. I plan to powder coat the drums, and try a set of 1 inch bolt on spacers to see if it will help with the spacing.
