I believe I met that guy. Young guy around 19 or 20? He was at my neighbors house buy a boost gauge. Nice guy. I asked him how the hell he could afford the car and the procharger? He said he was working 3 jobs.
Was he running MT streets? I know at the time I was talking to him, he was still learning to drive the car. So driver mod could have a little play in there. I think he said he had a 6 banger before. Hell of a jump, that is for sure.
Your car is pretty damn impressive with no more than you have in it. I have seen a built 347 with a Kennebell that only ran 7.50's.

Don... c'mon. You've been to the track a bunch. Tell me when you've ever seen a 7.19 slip run out to a 12.0. lol
I'd buy 450rw pretty easy and maybe he's just claiming 390 to have some fun with people. It's a strong runner no doubt. When the government pays, the government controls.

Dude, the '99 in that video is a solid 11.4 car, EASY. Which still doesn't add up with 390rw, even at 3400lbs, even with a wicked pissa converter.
The right lane here is pretty close to the 1.6/7.19/95mph that the OP states... except it's two tenths slower in the eighth... and still ran 11.5.

I'm surprised that 99 won.
A 260 HP stock + a 1.7L KB has to have a large disadvantage to a 412 HP + ProCharged motor.
It would not be unreasonable for the 5.0 + ProCharger to be putting down 500 RWHP.
My 03 GT with 1.7L KB (9lb intercooled kit) put down 401 RWHP and was running 12.8s at 113.5 mph in full street trim with street tires.

and the best the car has run in 1/4 that I know of is 11.43, but that was last year. And it dyno less, around 375hp those days.
We will know later on the 1/4 when they take it to ennis for the TMCCC. They go to most of those events.

The car will be at the cruises. They usually try to make most of them.
