Started putting the a/c back on this bitch! My newest project. I just realized that I put 2k miles on this in the last 2 months in the winter, and that I love this and my 68 Coupe, yet I'm tired of my 04 GT, my Fox, and my truck.
Old school is the coolest. I prefer my 60's cars over everything else. Am I sick?

I lost my GrandDad yesterday. If I did one thing right in my life, it was getting this car going when I did. I just happened to have the money then, and knowing that he was getting older, I thought I had better hurry.
I'm just glad he got to see it rolling again and was proud of it. Another of the Greatest Generation is gone.68 Coupe- 351w, TFS heads, Comp XE284, 5 speed, Explorer 8.8, 4 Wheel Discs

Super job for doing that for your Granddad. Sorry for your loss and I'm sure it made him happy to see the car going again. Old iron is fun to workon.Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

Sorry to hear about your granddad. I found out this morning that my grandmother's "comon law" husband died yesterday morning. He was like a grandfather to me and now that he's gone I regret not spending more time with him over the last 10 years (him and my grandmother split up about 10 years ago). Love the car, it looks great, still want a 64 "Thunderbolt" replica.

Sorry for your loss man. I'm glad you were able to take him down memory lane a few more times, cool story and you will always have something to remember him for. My Grandpa is always thrilled when I come by cause he loves the Hot Rods I bring by for him, I always get the, "Let me show you how to drive this thing" So I give in and he drives the wheels off the things, It's Grandpa, I can't tell him no. I think it makes him feel good. But, through all the years he has never let off any vehicle that I've owned until this one. All I got was his famous words, "God Oh Micky" pulled over and said "Nope it's all yours this time" lol. I have many stories about the old man.
