    Been lurking this thread for a while and really started digging the more-door look on your car, but really got a smile when you posted pops getting out of the car after a ride in it.

        Thanks guys. I don't care what anyone says, when it comes down to it, there are a lot of good folks here.

          About to put everything else back on the back burner again. I'm feeling a new carpet set and upholstery. And to finalize the A/C that I don't see being a big deal.

          Oh, and at my GrandDad's Family night, I talked to the nice lady whose Grandfather bought the car new. It was cool showing it to her and her remembering little details about it and listening to her stories about it!

            Awesome story. Sorry about your grandpa. I love old cars, too. Good luck finding any car from the last 20 years that will last anywhere near as long as the cars from the 60's have. Can you imagine our grandchildren saying "I'm gonna fix up my grandpa's old 2004 GT!"?
