Probably my least favorite of that era.

It was the last rock album before the synthesizer crap, on the 1984 album.

5150 was "OK", but they lost me after that. VH 1, VH II, "Women and children first", and "1984" were VERY good.

Yeah, but "Hot for Teacher", "I'll Wait", "Panama", "Drop Dead Legs"...damn.

                            ...

Ehh. I've always been a fan of VH (both versions too). I like the sound of this song, but I'm not sure about the lyrics. I want him to sing about some half naked girl.

My first record was 1984. I can listen to it from start to finish, and feel like, they put out their best work. I like house of pain too, and top jimmy. I stopped listening to them after Dave's departure. Dave made that band. Sammy was good as a solo act, but when he came in it went to crap. Heart was the same way, if you remember.

The keyboards/synthesizers started well before 1984. Listen closely to “And the Cradle Will Rock…”. The main riff is a Wurlitzer cranked through a Marshall. Fair Warning had “Sunday Afternoon In The Park” & “One Foot Out The Door”. Diver Down had “Dancing In The Street” and “Intruder”.
