I haven't read the the thread, so flame as you will, but it is fairly obvious when a person becomes combative. They called her by name, so they apparrently have dealt with her before, so they know that she's "special needs."

Asking for the veteren's phone cement's it, he fucked up royally, and knew he couldn't bully the veteran out of his phone.

Don't tell me what ideas I do and don't have, ginger bread. I do especially with special needs people. Before anything was thrown we were trained to escort a person who was showing signs of being combative away from the scene which would then, in most cases calm them down enough to put a restraint device on them or restrain them until they calmed down without making a much larger scene which then could feed the combative person's rage even further and make them even more difficult to subdue. They should've gotten her off the bus before that pussy tried to knock her out. That was far more than a distraction strike with the way he was getting his body into the swing. Stop making excuses for the moronic.
How many straight jacket or blanket restraint orders have you participated in?

Aw, resorting to name calling? I must have hit a chord....

There's a big difference between dealing with someone in a sterile hosptial environment and dealing with someone on the street. It's kind of hard to hide a shank in a hosptial gown.

This isn't afternoon crochet class. It's all or nothing. Officers want to go home after their shift too you know.

You know, it looks excessive. But sometimes a woman just needs to shut the fuck up and do what she is told. LOL

Again with the self-flattery and assumptions... You haven't hit anything. It's not name calling if it's true? You really think institution staff are not in danger working even in a "hosptial" environment? Tell me you are not that ignorant.
I didn't work in a hospital or hardly a sterile environment. It was a KOA campground off of Hwy 67 in Keene and was the last resort for kids ages 14 to 17 years old. Most were too unstable for any public institution therefore it was either the street or the place I worked. I have been punched which resulted in two broken teeth, stabbed with a fork and bitten more times than I could count. Whenever a confrontation took place it always turned physical. We could not retaliate because, even if many of them were larger in size than most of the counselors, if a counselor retaliated, the kid could press charges and the counselor would be investigated by the state. Police officers who dealt with those who went AWOL would repeatedly tell us how they'd much rather be in their position than ours.
Now, don't get me wrong, dear sir, I am in no way trying to one-up you. What I am saying is in this particular instance, those two fuck ups were doing it wrong.

Fucking LOL... yeah she looked like she was about ready to go gangsta. With them holding both of her arms.
No, what it looked like is they were too lazy to even deal with her and he wanted to take the easy way out.
