This. Everything is fucked in Maryland, because the rest of Maryland pretends Baltimore doesn't exist, and makes laws thinking everyone's honest.

I hate to say this but there are some places the law works and some places that no one gives a shit about the law. Really some cities should have severe coporal punishment and some could get by with little to no laws at all. The problem is people do not get to see the stuff we see in the worst cities. People that make the laws have never lived in a place where at 12-16 they are breaking into houses, carrying guns, or they have two kids leaving high school. Where the adults teach their kids to hate the police and just take what you havent earned. If they did things would be different. If I cussed a police officer as a kid I would have had my teeth knocked out by the cop, then my neighbor would have got a piece of me, then when I got home my dad would have beat the shit out of me. But now the kids can get caught stealing, cuss out the police, then the parents want to get in on it and join the party. Now days if a kid gets whipped with a belt he calls in saying his mom assaulted him. Some of you guys really have no idea how bad things are in places and I hope you never do. I am actually looking to change departments just because I am tired of domestic, domestic, shooting, burglary, fight in progress, etc etc every day. Ten years and it just gets old every day, same old same old, and its just the way of life here.
