That is the only SUV I think I would own. I wish you luck on the leather. I don't know what it is but the germans have a great leather. A friend was working on a 03 330 a couple months back and brought it buy just to show me how clean it was. It had 135k miles on it and the seats looked better than my F250 with 20k miles.
All the chrome will be blacked out. ALL OF IT! I think it's hideous.

We are pretty easy on vehicles. Never leave the garage unless it's for an out of town trip or her taking the kids to school. Regular details, etc. Hopefully it works out. I'm not above buying German again. And it got about 16 on the way home. But I had the "ECON" mode turned off. Supposed to get 18. Maybe when it's broken in and the ECON is on.

nice. however, i find it kind of odd that you paid that kind of coin for a vehicle you don't really like? sound like a stupid question? well, not really. you're essentially remaking every aesthetic feature you possibly can. and have some issues with the interior trim. at least that's what it sounds/appears like to me.

those are very nice rigs inside&out - right off the showroom floor. i drove one back when i was jeep shopping. i personally wouldn't buy a vehicle in that price range that i felt that i had to then go and remodel it, just to deem it appealing to myself. strange concept, but to each is own.

I thought that's pretty much what all car guys do.

I hate to leave anything stock. I've NEVER bought a vehicle that I left totally alone.

Nice SRT 8 GC! A few things to watch for. Keep an eye on the heat extractors on the hood. Second it you are gonna be flogging the hell out of it, watch for an oil leak around the oil filter. I love the exhaust note on these Jeeps. A nice set of flow masters, or magnaflows, will really let that 6.4 breathe. If you do a cold air intake, make sure it doesn't mess with the engine tune. Just play it safe and please go scare the hell out of some unsuspecting people!!!

Old wheels looked WAAAAYYY better. I do like the new body styling on the new one, but theyd look better with the older wheels.

Damn you....makes me want my 07 back. I will tell you this, if it's built like my old one, it should be pretty rock solid. I bought it with 9k miles on it and sold it 22 months later with 49k miles on it. Only problem I had was the brake squeal from the damn brembos that they couldnt figure out. Turned out to be the pad compound in a batch of pads was crap, using pads from a CTS-V fixed the problem!

                        Nice ride, congrats!!
