A friend of mine installed a Vortech on his Bulitt and dynod 376 RWHP and I don't remember the torque, but it was slightly less than the HP.

After driving mine, he wished he would have gone with the KB.
With the weight of his car it would be an even bigger difference with a twin screw.

Shouldn't be that big of a deal to use the passenger side for the air intake. I'm sure by now someone as already done it.

I love these cars. I drove a 01 grand marquis for over a year while in college. Was a wonderful car to commute in and would knock down 25-6 mpg all day. I'd get another if I had to commute. Mine had the front bench cloth seating and it was like driving from your couch.

I'd love to have one of those boats, but I'd have to put a 5 speed in it.

I have thought about it and it has been done before.... but it is not cheap and requires a bit of fabrication for padals and such.

Normally I'm not a fan of these cars, but being your grandpas car is a cool story and I must say those wheels look fantastic on it.

I'm looking for the watts link in the pictures you posted, and I haven't seen one yet...

In this picture you can see one of the watts link arms above the rear end. Most angles i can get pictures of the rear axle obscures them. If you look close at the right side axle tube you can see the other arm going towards the passenger side.

And in this picture you can see the watts link arms on the right...

My Mom had one of these cars and I love it until it torched her house due to the cruise control switch shorting out.

I think your year model didn't have that problem.

                  Nevertheless love the sleepers.

Once you get that vortech air dryer on let me know and I'll run you in my shitbox SHO.

                    Cool story bro....

Seriously, very cool. It's nice that it was your grandpas car, but the mods you chose work well with what it is.
