Damn, that was my trigger finger.

Spent yesterday afternoon in the ER. My 66 Ranchero bit me. Lost the tip, nail, a good amount of tissue and shattered the end of the bone.

I'll bet that hurt like a mo-fo when they put they injected the numbing med into it. At least I know it did for me, but I still had the tips of my fingers still attached.

I feel your pain. Had that happen to me also. Split the tip of my ring finger in two. Doc gave me seven stitches with one through the nail. Roughly 30 minutes after it happened, there was little to no pain. Nerve endings were severed I guess.
