I don't like the thought of abortion but I am not in the business of telling others what to do and strongly believe that people should mind their own damn business.

The decision being faced by the young lady in the poster is a tough one that I am thankful that I will never have to make.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

I have dealt with anti-abortion protesters and discussed this topic. They want to tell a woman she is wrong for making a choice they don't agree with, but when u ask them if they would adopt, or if they would financially support a child if the decision was made to have it, they don't want to get involved.

Typical liberal attitude. "I want to tell you what to do as long as it does not effect me".
Except in the cases of rape, you are right, the woman DID have a choice. Typical liberals don't want any responsibility for their actions.

I am pro life but I would be willing to support the government using the following rule:

If we use the heart beat to determine if a person is living or dead.. once the fetus has a heartbeat then abortion should be illegal. If the abortion happens before the fetus forms enough to have a heart beat then I could be ok with that as long as it is not government funded in any way, shape, or form. It should be expensive and not free so that the person still has to own up to some responsibility and learn from it to prevent it in the future.

When my tax dollars fund abortions for low lifes who can't afford birth control ... it becomes my business. Maybe you are ok with giving money to the government and not caring.

It's been a while since I was in the medical field, so I know I'm a little rusty, but clinical abortions aren't free of charge to the general public. And as far as I'm aware of, not subsidized by the state.

Ultimately we all will find out someday who was right and who was wrong.

Unfortunately on that day, it won't matter any more.

I'm not an expert on Obamacare policies. If there is such a option within it - I'm pretty sure it would be for cases deemed medically necessary, not elective.

So you would rather support them while they grow up? Abortion is way cheaper then 20 something years of welfare.

I think you have that backwards

I don't believe that any tax dollars go to fund abortions. In fact there are numerous laws that prevent just that sort of thing.

So it is a money issue for you and not a moral one? I take it that you would not be "Pro-Life" so long as you did not have to foot the bill for an abortion?

Yes, but she should be sterilized after the 2nd or 3rd elective abortion. There should be consequences. Just like I support castration of men that brutally rape women. But I have some pretty radical views when it comes to leeches and career criminals.

Not really. Both are just two sides of the same coin.

Liberals - Govt control over your life,

Conservatives - Govt control of morality.
