That is great stuff. Those aircraft trading cards are propaganda that were handed out by company reps at airfields. Looks like he has most of the manufacturers. That is really great, thank you for sharing!

Thank you all for your very kind comments. I have found many more items of interest from the 35 years he spent working on projects at what was LeTourneau/Vought. Many of them are poster size drawings and cut-aways from his time as their art department director in the 70's & 80's. None of it of course is classified. I'm not even sure where you would get something of these sizes scanned. I do know that the caliber of drawings that were produced without the aid of software is amazing. I found a whole drawer of specialty slide calculators, french curves, rulers, and varouis other drawing aids that I had no idea existed. To advert risk of more rambling, here are a couple of 8x10's that I was able to scan by an artist he worked with named Howard Hicks. It gives you an idea of what they were already envisioning back then and also what we know now has actually made it to the field.
