      Most of that looks gross!

I have absolutely no taste in fine foods.(or really any food) I also don't eat really any meat besides hamburger. Pizza looks delish!!

Me too. I was going to guess the $250-300 range.

My palette is more down to earth. I went to Portillo's, Lou Malnatti's, and we found some mom&pop Greek place that was to die for.

sous-vide scares me, the cooking method sounds like it would leave the food incredibly good but it still scares me if that person fucks up.

edit: you were shooting wide open? what lens/body?

That has to be at f/1.4 to f/1.8

Yeah it seems kinda scary, but eating at Pancho's is too. I'm tempted to buy a machine to give it a shot.

My friend took the pictures with his nikon d700 with a 1.8 35mm lens. I would have taken pictures with my camera but couldn't pack it into luggage.

But here's an example of my handy work with a d3000. And sorry about the FStop CJ. just trying to make it look artsy!

                      Food looks good....

the picture taking was ok but some of the food on the plates were blurred. Bokeh on the backround = good. Bokeh in the foreground = bad
