  • My Coupe Resto!

Been fully restoring this car for about a year now. Should be on the street here pretty soon.

    welded torque boxes
    MMFL subframes
    strange struts/shocks
    Wolfe Upper/lowers
    5 lug conversion front/rear
    stock (fresh) 5.0
    t-5
    on 3 turbokit w/ 62-1 turbo & Megasquirt.

The plan is to have a fully streetable ,reliable 400+ rwhp driver (for now):wink1:
I stripped the paint down to metal on the entire car and had a new roofskin installed (sunroof). New oem front/rear bumpers, mouldings are all new. Main focus on this car was Paint & interior.

As of right now, car runs, is painted and near being done.

I'll have "finished" pics by the end of the year.lol.

We blocked this car about 5 times to get it perfect. stopped @ 800 grit. Im very happy with the outcome. Used Rm Diamont (sonic blue) & Dc5300 clear.

Car is @ Nicks detailing getting wetsanded and buffed as we speak, and I have just about all the ext trim ready to install.

Was wanting to drive it by xmas, but prob wont happen. still have to finish up th interior and get the Megasquirt figured out.:wink1:

                Last pics for now.

Rick @ Accurate Engine Service did the machine work and rebuild for me. Honed out (still a 302)
                          Turned crank
                          freeze plugs
                          surfaced block
                          valve job etc.
Heads are stock with 9333's & studs.

Still have the stamped rockers on. lol.

I didn't really want to put any money into the engine since i will be building a 331 setup eventually. Gonna build entire car around this till that time.

Built 8.8, tranny, coilovers & cage sometime this summer.:wink1:
