      • Looks good!

I'd steer clear of the BTM for reliability and accuracy reasons. There's much better solutions now - like the programmable 6AL boxes, price wise I think they're reasonably close to the same as the whole BtM setup

        • Scott, this is what I was talking about - if you buy a BTM new, it's 379.95 from Summit, If you get the programmable one, it's 358.97 from Summit (but needs a MAP sensor)

The second one is a much better choice. (accuracy, technology, tuneability etc)

Also, there's the one I texted you which will only work if you already have an ignition box already

            • small update. Everything is done and leaving to be polished, chromed & ceramic coated tomorrow.

The car only needs some misc fittings and an ignition system to be done.

Also Decided to go ahead and get a 7531 and do it right the first time.

Planning to drive it just off the spring till I recover from this phase of the build.

Here is a before pic of what all is going.

www.pulidoplating.com will be doing the chrome/polishing and ceramic coating elsewhere .

              stay tuned

              • Everything is back from being polished. The turbo parts missing(hotside/headers) are still being ceramic coated.

                what you see cost $530

not bad considering that some of the castings had to be sanded smooth. For you picky guys I wouldn't consider this to be "show chrome" polishing but it looks okay.

I wished they would have spent a little more time on the final polish. minor scratches dont = Show chrome. lol

                stay tuned

                        • Small update. Got my 7531 box wired in & turbo kit installed.

I have about another week of wiring, boost & oil lines and she should be ready to fire up.

Dropping car off with Brooks tomorrow to get the oil return welded to the pan.

Carb should be back from Csu tomorrow.

Hope this E85 thing works out! Lol

                            • Update!

Got the car on the dyno and it made 760@18 lbs on E85. Leaving it alone till I get a glide/boost controller & cage. Im sure plenty is left in her. I will find out next spring. In the meantime it will be driven around on the 9lb spring.

Interior is now about done. Just need a new steering wheel. Has some Mach 1 seats redone in black and had the rears matched. Overall Im happy with the out come.
