Dubstep is also what screamo groups have migrated from, it's like punk electronica. Shit look at Skrillex, he was the old front man from "from first to last" and is now one of the most well known dubstep artists and backed by Deadmau5..
IMO, foster the people is almost as bad, but I do like some dubstep. Like any genre of music, it has it's goods and bads. Some of it is just unbearable and I jam the fuck out to other stuff. Check out stereo craft and bassnectar, more "dub" than "step", lol.
