I just got back from a business trip to Quebec.... it's as close to visiting Europe, without actually crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

The people are not very outgoing, but it was a good visit overall. The weather was very good for the time of year, no snow and around 42 degrees.

Montreal is a very cool city, but EVERYONE is smoking a cigarette and there's still a little too much French influence for me. I'd still go back in a minute, but prefer Vancouver. All of the European feel, with English as the primary language.

I've lived in both for quite a while. The french part isn't a big deal for me though.
