Its the angle. The car is flawless in person. And I'm super picky.

It's a bare bones car that GM built to compete in Super Stock. They only built 69 of them, they went 11.60's at 120 on 14" Poly Glass tires and 10.20's with slicks and open exhaust. Right off the show room floor in 1969.
So when are you taking yours to the track?

I doubt it, have you ever known me to have a slow car? Much less a slow truck?

I don't want to, it's only showing 177 miles on the odometer since its restoration in '08.

                            • Dropping the compression is as queer as Elton John.

But seriously, why drop the compression? Wouldn't it run slower on the same psi? There are many other ls engines on tech that are many forged 10+:1 motors running on high teens of boost.

buys room on pump gas. some folks actually see more power with less (or the same) psi via the ability to be more aggressive with timing. 10:1, pump gas and 17+psi is hard to prevent detonation. 9:1 opens the window a little.
