Nothing amazing. .030 over Wiseco -11cc pistons, Wiseco GFX rings (stainless top ring), Scat H-beam rods, reusing the stock crank, Clevite "p" bearings (main, rod, cam), ls9 head gaskets, arp head studs. Going to reuse everything else.

Now you can make big power!! The end of this year I'm going to build a alum 5.3 with l92 heads and yes it can be done people use to do it to big blocks back in the day. Doing the same to the 5.3. That and some bigger turbo's don't think the 54's r going to make it to much longer.

On a side note. I got bored and decided to clean my condenser on the coupe while the motor is out. I am shocked any air made its way through, you couldn't even see through it. I flushed it with water, air, water, air and tons of shit came out. Now it looks brand new. Hopefully this will take care of my problem with it getting hot with the AC on. I have to imagine that the condenser was getting hot as hell trying to shed the heat and was also choking out the radiator from getting much air. I'm about as excited to see how it does from cleaning the condenser as I am from the new motor!

Oven cleaner for the win. Spray it down front and back with oven cleaner, you'll be amazed st the rest of the shit that is still baked on.

No stock 5.3 bore. Look up Big blocks with big heads back in the day and see what they did. I no some people that have already done it and is running.

Neither, I posted a picture of it. It's a 69 Camaro COPO clone with a 427 BBC and a 4 speed. 12 bolt, 4.10 gears, 11.1 with a solid roller cam from the factory. It's a bare bones car that GM built to compete in Super Stock. They only built 69 of them, they went 11.60's at 120 on 14" Poly Glass tires and 10.20's with slicks and open exhaust. Right off the show room floor in 1969.
