I flushed it with water, air, water, air and tons of shit came out. Now it looks brand new. Hopefully this will take care of my problem with it getting hot with the AC on. I have to imagine that the condenser was getting hot as hell trying to shed the heat and was also choking out the radiator from getting much air. I'm about as excited to see how it does from cleaning the condenser as I am from the new motor!
Have you thought about shrouding the condenser to the radiator to direct the air flow?

I am sure that you have the same problem I do. Every time it comes apart you find something else to make it better.

When are you putting cruise control in?

I've got a full radiator box built around it to direct any/all air that comes through the front bumper through the radiator. I opened up the bottom inlet and all the air that goes through there is directed through the intercooler (then the a/c and radiator), and any air that makes it through the "grill" opening is directed through the condenser/radiator. the car would run fairly cool on the highway, it was low speed stuff that heated it up. makes sense after seeing the condenser, even the 3600+cfm taurus fan probably couldn't suck through that condenser (esp. since what little air it could get through was probably being super heated by the condenser that wasn't getting any air flow). on the highway it was probably able to stay reasonably cool since the air was being forced through it (via the radiator box) at 70mph. just my theory now, but since the condenser was so damn dirty it makes sense. i bought the condenser off the guy from manfield and never really looked at it before putting it in. God only knows what shit box f-body it came off of!

That is why I went with a brand new one. No bugs, no mess. I need to box my stuff in but I am planning a bigger radiator and fan set up right now.

Nothing amazing. .030 over Wiseco -11cc pistons, Wiseco GFX rings (stainless top ring), Scat H-beam rods, reusing the stock crank, Clevite "p" bearings (main, rod, cam), ls9 head gaskets, arp head studs. Going to reuse everything else.
