Sadly my car is hardly ever up . Saw the panel on Sunday, passed it around the Gordonville cutoff. Assume it was your dad in the drivers seat.

yea but that must have been Saturday because he hit something in the road and broke the oil pan on it saturday evening.

so now we have to fix both cars

I ultimately made the decision to do it. You don't know the race situation we were in. It was a risk and I took it. We weren't bullshitin around with local guys that build bullshit cars, we were going to play with the big dogs.

To be real honest, they were getting their ass kicked and we were the ones kicking it.

The block broke due to a previous issue I wasn't made aware of. It had nothing to do with the amount of nitrous.

You couldn't ever back it up even with another 120rwhp. You broke the motor trying to prove you could do it again. Lmfao!

                        • My 4000 pig has made a real 5 second pass. Not a fluke one time deal, and a string on 6.20's and changing had the drivetrain to run 6.0's. I am sorry, there is no comparison between the two. Yours is a gutted out dime a dozen mustang, just sayin....

No I know I don't own it anymore. Nothing's changed when it was mine, nobody here wanted to race me then, nobody here wants to race now.

The saying here is I could put 10,000 dollars into a fox body and run faster then that.....

kinda forgetting the 1.33 60' on that run vs. 1.5-1.6's i could get out of the glide. suspension needs work and i never got it figured out with the 1.76 glide/brake. i was able to make it work off the foot brake on the taller 350 gear. threw more power at it on the back end trying to make up for it and found the limit of the stock parts.

5.85 @ 118 and eventually going 120 in the 1/8 in a "bullshit car" that i built ain't bad in my book.

i'm not going to sit here and act like i wasn't disappointed, it sucks when stuff breaks, but i'll continue pushing the envelope just as soon as i get it assembled.

who knows, maybe it's been hurt since the cruise when it made that run

I didn't forget about the 60ft. You are missing the whole argument I tried to make about it being a timing problem that day. It wasn't even remotely repeatable on the same day and on the same exact track.
When that dragster redlit it caused your side to read the light reaction and 60ft off of the rear tires. You got a 102 inch head start.

                              • When you can consistently run a number you can brag about it, my pump gas Nova went 5.50's on pump gas 6 years ago. Bravo to me, nobody really gives a shit about it now.
