Thanks. I put 150 on the car in the last 3 days. Hell I drove it to work in Hurst today too. I am trying to put miles on it before the Power Tour next month. At $3.30+ a gallon and only 7-10 miles per, I am reconsidering my E85 choices.

After smelling this $1,000 twin disc clutch for the last couple of days, I might also start looking at automatic options

Nice car bro. Hope to see it in person at the track sometime. My cuz has an Olds Cutlass with a LS1 swap that made it into some magazines.

no new best e.t. tonight, but did trap 120mph

first pass i had way too much boost on the line and spun

next pass i took way too much power out of it


next pass was a 6.2 @ 120, pedaled it hard anticipating it spinning (felt like it was going to spin), spun at the top of low gear


next pass was the one i posted earlier, racing another stang with nitrous, was able to drive past him. little clip of brooks looking pleased i was able to drive past him.

not yet.

finally feel like i have a decent grasp of how the controller works and how it translates to the track. my radials are done, was ramping in the boost over 2 seconds and still was fighting a little spin at the top of low gear. the 120 mph shows the car is making the power (especially considering it's being throttled back for a third of the pass, the 5.85 was on spring, no controller, fresher tires and 118mph). i leave for my honeymoon on the 5th and plan to buy some new 275's when i get back. hopefully will get to redeem O.J. at the next cruise.
