I suppose it is quiet, but I was surprised how much I could hear the turbos from inside my cab. It's not annoying at all, it's just enough to let you know they are there.

      I love my ecoboost!

I love quiet! my truck would probably dyno in the 550-570rwhp range and is almost silent inside the cabin. Cracks me up when my almost stock sounding 10,000lb truck walks on a LOUD straight piped smoke monster

Anyone else notice when they were puttin out all the specs on the new 5.0 before it was released that they made sure to mention it was engineered with provisions to make adding DI easy in the future? I bet 1000hp would be simple with a TDI 5.0.

That's what I don't get - I can't hear my turbos at all, not a lick. Maybe I'm just deaf... or the Platinum really is insulated pretty well.

I would consider little of what Fastlane says to be the truth. They like many others do not tell the truth about dyno numbers.

I dont doubt that. I heard the truck slowed down when it hit the track.was told by a fellow ecoboost owner...Im waiting to see the first set of scattered turbos, that should be interesting!

I've got a Super Crew FX2 EcoBoost with 3.55s. I took it out to Dallas Raceway Friday night. With a crappy 2.2 60 I went 14.904@93. Could have done better with a few more passes but we had to leave.

What I want to know is the mpg. I would love to see an f150 get 30mpg hwy and 20mpg city. If a tuner could do that they would have a must buy product.
