Truly our nations greates generation that maybe there ever will be!"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

We owe them a debt that can never be repaid. But we owe it to them to live each and every day doing our best to repay it.
The proudest times in my civilian career were when I was working for Northwest Airlines, and we would do the "Freedom Flights", flying WWII Veterans to the WWII Memorial, free of charge. I cherished every single hand I shook on those days."It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

while working in a parts store a few years back, we found out one of our regulars was a vietnam vet. we tried to thank him for his service and for fighting for us, and he promptly stopped us, and with a very serious look on his face and a tone in his voice we didn't know he possessed, he said "don't you thank me for a goddamned thing. you wanna thank someone? thank those boys who didn't come home."
sent chills down my spine then, and still does when I think about it."We, the people, are the rightful masters of both congress and the courts - not to overthrow the constitution, but to overthrow men who pervert the constitution." Abraham Lincoln
