I've read reports that the ecoboost is tuned down for the first 1k miles. I previously was able to get a pretty good tire squeal at about 20 mph with a 2-3 shift. Yesterday I hit the 500 mile mark and got the same tire squeal at almost 30mph. I also notice that the mileage keeps creeping up. I'm averaging 17.5mpg with mixed driving and I've been driving it pretty damn hard. Other people have reported that the mileage jumps up after the first 1k miles so we will see.


As far as the color goes this was the only choice I was considering and think it's the best color offered by ford right now.
