I heard the girl (now lady) on the radio today in an interview with her mama (who also beat her ass, but is her buddy), and part of me now thinks he didn't whip her ass enough. The mama divorced him a few years ago, and now says he had "brain-washed" her into "everything she did". LOL.

Yeah I took worse then that many a time growing up. I think it was a set up on ole dad but he was a tad excessive, not to bad. We have kids and seperated parents call all the time for BS just trying to get at each other. This is whats wrong with kids today, not enough ass whippings growing up and now they run wild. Exactly, I too believe in spanking but not beating. The act of corporal punishment in itself is doing something that causes pain to make the other party understand the level of their mistake. IMO a good person feels bad after issung C.P. to their child. It should also be done when you can control yourself and explain the reasons why they are wrong. Dont get me wrong, I got my ass beat a lot. But it was that in it self, my dad always controlled the situation and made it a lesson.
