That's about $165 million worth of aircraft. I'm sure it's like anything that's insured. They'll inspect the damage, look at the in-flight data, and go from there.
I wouldn't feel less safe in it if they repaired it and returned it to service. It'll still have to meet airworthiness requirements and more than likely include tighter inspection schedules. Broke shit gets fixed up and returned to service all the time.Men have become the tools of their tools.
