Basically, they will sedate her and put in a breathing tube and breathe for her. They will then use a fiber optic camera with a grasper on the end to get it out. They will then wash out that lung with sterile fluids to prevent pneumonia.
I have removed a bottle cap from a 10yr olds airway emergently before. Kid was blue and not breathing when I got him. Took a look in his throat with a laryngoscope and used some McGill's to pull it out of his larynx. A few breaths with a BVM and he was as good as new.
