Why don't you come out on a ride along?

Be sure to tell your family that you are going to Mexico for a couple week vacation, it will give me time to hide the body. They got the idea for "Dexter" from me.....

Where is your tin foil hat.

FYI, I always keep a shovel and crime scene cleaning kit in my car, along with my throw down gun, and several varieties of naroctics (weed, coke, heroin, crack) for planting.

This should end the argument as far as the officer having no PC:

Sec. 521.025. LICENSE TO BE CARRIED AND EXHIBITED ON DEMAND; CRIMINAL PENALTY. (a) A person required to hold a license under Section 521.021 shall 1) have in the person's possession while operating a motor vehicle the class of driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle operated; and(2) display the license on the demand of a magistrate, court officer, or peace officer.(b) A peace officer may stop and detain a person operating a motor vehicle to determine if the person has a driver's license as required by this section.(c) A person who violates this section commits an offense. An offense under this subsection is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $200

The bolded text means an officer can make a stop just to see if the person holds a license.
Hopefully you don't have a case were they question your character.

It's fortunately been a while, but when being pulled over after dark, I click on the overhead light and wait to go to the glovebox until after the officer is at the window, after having been instructed what I'm about to do. It never got me out of a ticket, but it kept me from getting shot.

I always turn on the light but I go ahead and get my insurance out of the glove box. I'm just very polite and ask how their day/night is going and hope everything is going well. Been pulled over probably 15 times in 6 years and got a ticket the first time I got pulled over. The rest I've been let go. "Knocks on Wood."

Incorrect. The cop needs probable cause and/or the victim is detained before the law requires to show ID.

Lol it's funny to watch a pig's authority get challenged. They HATE that.

Did you even read the thread? If you operate a motorized vehicle on public roads, you must provide proof that you're legal to do so.

A cop cannot pull anybody over on the road. They first need some sort of probable cause. Usually the probable cause is speeding, expired tags, etc. There MUST be probable cause before the officer demands a license.

If this was not required, an officer could pull over a car just because he feels like it. If there is no probable cause, the officer cannot demand proof of valid license.

Passenger looks completely Non suspicious riding in a car at night wearing sunglasses and holding a camera....also mumbling about a badge number.
