most guys just run factory mounts/factory location

my buddy's drag truck he just built solid mounts in the factory location. but he's building an altered that's getting a midplate and a front plate.

there have been guys pull the block apart at the motor mount location, but I've only ever heard of it happening in sled pulling applications
