lol yeah England green is having NOTHING but issues getting marks vette right...
the owner of the "mullet" GT is actually a really cool guy..
Yes, very very cool dude. He loaned some gloves since they were needed for the run in the Stang. His GT is killer. Wasnt running the compound setup this weekend but I think he will in March.
As for Marks Vette it has had some issues but I think they have it sorted. Get the new bracket and then they can finnish the tune on it and try it with nitrous to see what it can do. I am interested in seeing what that beast will do. He said he was kinda glad he didnt have it this weekend cause running the Stang at 154 was enough for him for now. LOL
How can you afford to go to this? Recently people were paypaling you money to keep your lights on
Enough already. You follow me around in every thread and sound like a parrot with down syndrom. How can I afford it? What I cant go watch a racing event? Not allowed to spend $15 for an entire weekend of fun? Some friends made it their mission to get me there and cheer me up after my father passing a few weeks ago. Why dont you ask me how I am gonna pay for his funeral? Maybe you would feel better about yourself rubbing some salt in that wound.
And get some damn facts right. You come in every damn thread spewing BS every fucking time. I have had enough. I have been very polite and friendly here and explained to you time and time again whats what. Now people were paying my light bill? Stop making shit up.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
Don't worry about 78X, people around here just feed on drama, they will come up with any excuse to start it. Good luck with your financial situation hopefully things will get better for you.

Damn, man. Sorry to hear that. If it'll cheer you up, Geor swallows. And even if it doesn't cheer you up, it cheers him up.
Usually when theres a wreck out there they try and not let anyone see it. Pretty lame. But just like the Lambo that went end over end, they hid that and wouldnt let anyone look.
i was out there on saturday. my first time as well. pretty awesome. was parked just outside of your pic of all the cobras. wish i had seen that kit car run. wind and heat sucked but overall it was a lot of fun. did you see the ssr run? that was another i wanted to see.

I kept waiting for it and finaly heard it fired up Sunday morning but then they loaded it away. Really wanted to see what it could have done.

Well that was me of course. Kinda hard to keep a low profile after an event like that....
Luckily, I was OK and the car looks worse than it really is. I will fix it and it will be better than new.
Before the race I was able to dial in 4.25 degrees of castor before the race. The car felt good 100+ speeds on good flat roads. I did have a splitter installed before the race. Also, I was glad I installed a 6 point harness (Thanks to Richard Oben for the harness brackets!!!)
On Friday my first run revealed a tuning issue that I fixed quickly. I made a second run and did 164.3. During that run, the hood was dancing around a bit from the excess airflow and the car was not liking the bumps in the runway once I was 130+. I ran my bike on Saturday and did not run the car.
On Sunday, we decided to blocked off some airflow to the radiator to cure the problem with too much air getting into the under hood area. We also made a toe adjustment to see if it helped with the bump steer. The run started off good and the hood/excess air issue was solved. Everything seemed to be going better but at 160 it felt similar to the prior run.
I crossed the mile marker at 174.5 and started to slow when I hit the dip in the track. The car became unsettled and the rest is history.
The car spun several times but did not go airborne (thankfully). There were some hood pieces that came off as the car spun at 170, then skid marks, then the tire barrier.
When I rebuild the front end, I will be able to relocate the upper control arm mounts to improve geometry.
At least I went faster than that GT-Malan on Battle of the Supercars....
