As you might have read here, we went down to PINS on a fishing trip.
One of my buddies has a few chickens, and a pesky rooster that likes to infiltrate the hen house and destroy the eggs, so, he decided to take the chicken on the fishing trip as food. We were going to clean and eat the chicken and use the internals as bait in the crab trap.
So, as we packed the truck, we got everything in and a tarp over the coolers and fishing gear. We lashed the kayak to the top and using bungie cords, secured the crab trap containing the rooster on the side next to the kayak.
We drove from FTW to PINS with that rooster riding proudly on the back, and the looks from other motorists made the trip worth it even if the fishing sucked.
We got some pretty damn funny reactions like "WTF???" but by far and away the best ones were by those of the Mexican pursuasion. We even had one guy almost rear end another vehicle due to him staring at the rooster.
