                  I think it's awesome she gets to hear her husband and kids. I can't imagine not being able to hear my son's voice. What a blessing.

                    I have a friend that is extremely disfigured in the face, the first thing she did after all of her surgeries was say she wanted to work at Petsmart.

                    I think disabled/disfigured people may tend to be more comfortable with animals, they don't really care how you look and if you are different from other people.
