Now that i've actually watched the video, I call bullshit. She's been wearing hearing aids her whole life, there is NOBODY out there that can go from stone deaf to wearing a cochlear implant and magically UNDERSTANDING everybody. Hell when i transitioned from hearing aids to a cochlear, it took a good couple of weeks for it to stop sounding like the warbling effect in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Still cool that she got it for free (even though the Feds pay damn near all of the costs regardless), but meh. So... whats her digits. maybe she'll be into some deaf/deaf sechs.

She was completely deaf. I've met her. Whether she completely understood people, theres nothing to say she did. She was asked if she could hear sound, and asked if she could here the woman. She can still read lips.

LOL when i first started the video my computer was on mute. I thought i was getting to experience this with her.

Now that i actually watched the video, i will say that my hat is off to the MIL, Ellen, and the medical co. Great group of people she has supporting her!

Off to go look at gun videos to re-earn my man card!
