Come spend a day with me when I worked in the hood and you would realize how much of an epidemic it really is.

One of the local news stations did a segment on a Govt Assistance program that gave money to people for watching kids so parents could go looking for jobs.

One fine upstanding taxpayer collected over $15k in a year for staying at home, selling crack and watching nonexistant kids.

There are plenty of tax-paying citizens that are doing nothing but building their own bank account to benefit themselves and their own family, and if you aren't volunteering, donating to charity, or working on a cure for cancer, you're one of them, so get in line.

For any of the Liberals out there.....THIS is what us normal Republicans have a problem with. I'm not at all opposed to the grander idea of my tax dollars going to help out younger citizens who are trying to better themselves to one day become the supporting side once folks like myself are dead and gone. That I get. The problem is that it is half-balked having no checks and balances....letting a lot of dirtbags get through just like this one.

Here's an idea....what do you guys think would happen if the government offered $500 cash (onetime payment) to every male who would come in and have a free vasectomy performed?
Then offer $1000 cash to every female who would come in for a free surgery to have her tubes tied? Those lines would probably be almost as long as the unemployment lines....and think about the type of citizens who would jump at the opportunity for another free check!

Imagine all the people out there in this category that we would be able to stop from reproducing (the same ones who will continue to look for ways to take advantage and cheat the system utilizing their offspring as a tool to do-so).....what do you think the benefits would be to some of the financial aid funds ~ 5-years from such a program going into effect? In ~10 years, how would the funds look within local schools...those that support free transportation, lunches, etc?

I'll bet return on that investment would be huge over time.
