You should see a water plant. Pre-sedimentation tanks, floc tanks, charcoal tanks..... all have wonderful layers of scuz and bird poop in them. Seen workers flick a cig butt in them, spit in them etc etc. So based on that I stopped drinking water.

I crapped in the bottom of a water treatment tank at one of the treatement plants in South Texas. We were there to clean the tanks out, and well I knew I wasn't going to make it to the pump station for this explosion.

We washed it out with the rest of the filth in there, i.e. sludge, dead birds and fish, trash, etc. So I'm sure it was ok

I am pretty sure he was referring to a municipal water treatment plant for a city's water supply. One of my best friends worked at one, and the shit he told me about our water supply shocked me, but I still used the water. I wasn't going to import 6000 gallons of water a month...

ANY place that has a high volume, mass production facility is going to have all the bullshit you mentioned happening, the only way you are going to avoid it is to drink rainwater you collect yourself, and only eat shit out of your own garden.

I'm not saying to go that far, however, it's foolish not to take steps to prevent the problem. There are plenty of filtration systems on the market to correct the issue.

Bottled water is no better than what comes out of the tap, either.
