Adam great pics. I was in Naples, Rome, Canary Islands back in '97. Canary Islands in my opinion had some of the best looking women in the world. Then again I was drunk the whole time.

Hopefully I can take my wife out that direction in the spring.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Florence is on the list of actual vacation destinations now. That city is great, tons to do, easy to get around and really nice people.

Greenland just happened because we diverted up north from Spain to make up time because the headwinds off the east coast of the U.S. were stout and would make for a long trip home. I was probably the only person that cared about it.

        *edit* Nice Pics
We did the Royal Caribbean 7 night Mediterranean cruise out of Barcelona (another good city to vacation in)

Just out of curiosity, do you have any sort of background in architecture? You posted quite a few significant buildings that I studied in school...
I dig history and architecture so I had a list of "must see" places to check off while we were there.

Question, the picture with the mummy in the glass casket...was that a victim of a Vesuvius eruption? Reason I ask is it looks really familiar and I studied Mt. Vesuvius years ago.
          Wanna see my care face???

Where's the picture of you holding up the leaning tower?

I believe you are right, just from what I saw.

Adam, looks like you had a blast! how long were your port times and how many ports did you do? We're looking into it as well. Then a buddy of mine at work has a house in Malta, Florence and Montenegro. He told me I'm welcomed to just stay in any of those, so I'm weighing the differences. I really want to take in as much of the Mediterranean as I can.

And I've always been facinated with checking out the Canary Islands and the Azores (I can hit those on the cross-Atlantic cruise).

That's the one. I also have a picture of the dog that was found as well, pretty crazy.

The Canary Islands are interesting with how much geography is there on different islands. We planned on doing to the Seychelles, but it didn't pan out for the second week of our trip so we figured the Canaries would work since we were over there.

I wouldn't mind the Seychelles. In fact, I once considered moving there until I found out how economically unstable it was. They have the world's highest percapita debt. I'd love to dive it, though.
