2000 Ford Mustang Cobra R. We have all heard the phrase "New in the wrapper!" well here is the epitome of that. This is a Cobra R that has never been on the street or track, heck it was never touched by a tech at the original delivering dealership. The original owner picked this car up just as it was delivered from Ford SVT and put it away with all the original factory labels and shipping coverings. Today this time capsule has only 16 miles on it. Included with this awesome 185MPH plus car are copies of all the original paperwork, invoice, window sticker (still on the window of course) none of the items that were to be dealer installed have been removed from the car and are in the rear seat area and trunk. This is #29 of the 300 built. It isn't often you get the opportunity to own a true factory built race car, especially one that hasn't been unwrapped yet. Call today and you can be the proud owner of this investment quality car today!

No, you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about. That garage is hardly "rough". Now if that car was under a beat up carport in the middle of a junkyard your expression would be appropriate.

Oh, and my z06 would smoke that.

Let me do you fuckers a favor:
The phrase is clearly a metaphor for the original unpolished state of diamond gemstones, especially those that have the potential to become high quality jewels.

Something that is in fantastic condition is not 'in the rough'.

I was beginning to think I was the only one who understood that. This is the second post this week misusing that expression

The R is pretty nice though. Wonder what the reserve is...
