I definitely see the similarities to the Lotus. Also a great look'n car. Would flog any of those, inlcuding Z06 (any year. )

It could be a pretty wicked car, but I would have to drive it in order to have a final decision on that shifter.

Diggin it. Gemballa makes some badass shit...I've been looking at one of their front bumper covers for my car.

...checkout those wicked brakes on that thing too!

Those aren't the stock Carrera GT Carbon-Ceramic brakes? Badass either way.

                That's the stock location.

You're right, they put it there so you could keep both hands on the wheel for the most part.

Yeah I think so....Porsche sources them from Brembo like all the rest of their shit don't they?

That's one thing I can say about my Carerra so far...I've never had a car with the stopping performance this thing has, but damn the brake dust is horrific with it too. After washing it, literally just one short drive and the wheels are covered in brake dust again....and the rears are just as bad as the fronts too.

Maybe I need to try some of that new protectant from Armor All. Anyone have any luck with that stuff?

Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

Did you ever post any pictures? I wanna see it. If you don't want them plastered all over you can PM me. I've been in lust with Porsche since before I knew what one was.

In the 50’s automakers tried to out-chrome and out-fin each other until the designs got so ridiculous that buyers were ready for a change. Replace the chrome with carbon fiber and the wings with scoops and you get this thing – a caricature lifted straight out of a Batman movie. I sure hope this fad dies out and design starts moving in a more minimalist direction because I’m sick of seeing this horseshit.

At least carbon fiber and scoops are functional when used correctly (see the cars posted above).

I've used it. Put it on my Z06 and it keeps the wheels pretty clean. Then I gave it a real test. I put it on one wheel of my wifes Jetta. Then we drove to South Dakota and back. After about 1800miles the front wheel was barely showing signs of dust and the rear was a complete mess.

The turn signal lever looks like it came right out of the 80's Ford parts bin. Other than that, and the wierd shifter postion, bad ass car. Z0-wut?
