Wow! That is very clean for the mileage, my only concern is starting with that much mileage. Shit might start happening soon after buying it with that many miles.

Nice car though.
I bought my 03 avalon @ 123k miles, currently at 172k miles, not a single problem (same car pretty much).

Hmm, yeah it's just a chance you take, most of those cars are going to be reliable, guess it's the sporty car's with high miles you have to be more worried about.

It's all in the owner.

Yeah guess the last toy purchase has really fucked up my thoughts of anything high mileage now.
I used to never worry about miles too much as long as it was within reason.
Also spoilt with my Kia, bought it with 16k miles on it, granted it's a cheap little car, but really nice driving something with low mileage to start out with.

You just have to a) not be in a hurry b) know what you want c) know how to negotiate d) know the car well.
I picked up a Scion TC for my sister in law, 2006 model, 59k miles, previous owner had every single service receipt, service package, everything done on it. Had TRD exhaust, supercharger, tail lights, etc. etc. Paid $5,900 for it. Books for 10k and 2k for the supercharger. Ended up getting my '01 wrangler for 4k, books for 11k. Just gotta wait and wait and find a good deal for yourself.
Sometimes I sell my repos if I can't get what I want at auction, if you tell me some cars you're interested in, I'll let you know if I have one available. I sold an '08 GT for 15k a few weeks ago.
I usually search the TSB's on a particular model and year I'm looking so, so I can see common problems and if the owner dealt with them properly or not. I also try to focus on cars which I know inside and out. MSNautos.com is a great resource also to find common problems.

Nice car though.
They are remarkably trouble free. The only issues seem to be with the optional air ride system. Other then that the older models (LS400) would loose the AC display from vent moisture. Its a $200 fix unless you can soldier then its $100. Also the control arms are a bit expensive at $300ish each.
You can find very nice LS400s for under $4000 that still have 150K+ miles of service left.
Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
