ZR1 and LFA are neck and neck until mid-way through the video when the LFA starts to pull away. As much as it pains me to admit it, I think the ZR1 was starting to heat soak a little bit. I experienced this issue this past Sunday at MSR when my coolant hit 260F+.
I guess GM has to draw the line somewhere on cost/benefit of engine cooling, etc. and I hit it.
Of course, the LFA Nurburgring edition costs 4 times what a ZR1 costs, so part of that extra cost gets you a car that feels fresh at the end of the Ring run whereas the ZR1 was a bit 'tired.'
