    What's the real upside to one of these when you can have a badass HD projector for ~2500~ bucks?

      They were looking at a 140-160" projector/screen initially. The picture quality is better on this than a Projector. Also there is a Chandelier in the middle of the room.

                  Actually this screen doesn't have the high-gloss glass of a typical plasma. It reflects more like an LCD - diffused.

                  The room has 4 can lights(independently controlled), 1 chandelier, and 2 sconce lights. None of the lighting will interfere with viewing when everything is done.

                    Ooppps, that wasn't the way I wanted that to come out. I meant that comment to be a negative of a projector --> ambient light + projector = blah... I'm sure this TV is gorgeous If only I was a true baller and not just a dfws baller haha.
