pic of the TJ and JK together. I put the TJ back to stock when i sold it to my dad, its so...tiny.

Cant wait to chunk that rear plastic bumper and get a real one built.

also went muddin to celebrate the first real rain fall in forever.

The wifey did most of the mudding since i'm really not a fan of mudding but she had a blast. told her she would be in charge of getting all the mud off. LOL

exactly. I figure thats a lesson she needs to learn like everybody else LOL. We're planning a trip to KOH (King of the Hammers) in early February, and I'm hoping to have the new 38s, gears, lift, etc on before then. Also thinking about making some kind of a wood/metal base to make the whole back of the jeep flat when the back seats are down so we can put an air or foam mattress back there and camp while we're out at the Hammers.

Over the course of 5 years I have pretty much rebuilt every component on my '04 TJ. Most recently lifted and swapped in a 31sp 8.8 along with a complete steering overhaul - Currie HD + PSC Raging PCP hydro assist. Read through the Jeep section of my blog on the details.

                Highlights:

                Tera 4:1 + 4.88's = Slowest rig on here

what size tires are those seb? 33s? Bet its pretty gutless on the highway but you dont need a ton of power to go offroading.

It sucks on the Hwy & the stock gears suck on the Hwy too! I need 4.56s bad in this thing! Yes 33, But I haven't driven this whole year. No insurance on it right now

dude.. you're a messican landscaper. you dont need insurance. guess you didnt get the memo.

when/if you regear, go to 4.88s, you'll be ALOT happier with it then with 4.56s.

LOL Im actually white! But I do employ a few mesicans. They do work harder then the white guys!

I have been told that 4.88s would be better by multiple people. But I do drive it long distances at times. I live in Rockwall & my daughter loves The Jeep. So I want to still cruise it at 70 when I do put insurance on it, Damn Business insurance just to do Mesican Landscapinig kills me every month. You cant do shit without insurance these days

well, if the RPM's are too high with the 4.88s, then just put 35s on it. bigger is always better. I really dont think you'll have that problem though. its alot easier to trade a set of 33s for a set of 35s then to pay to regear to 4.56s, then have to pay to regear again to 4.88s.

My daughter loves our jeep too, she was laughing hysterically while my wife was mudding in the pasture.

                              x2, I run 4.88's with 33's and its a dream.
