Some mad skills. They didn't even have that technology in the wingsuits when most of us were jumping. Mis-judge that by a few feet and you're a dead man. Then again, pretty much any sort of mis-judge in skydiving is gonna end nasty.

yeah the wingsuit design is alot different from the birdman suit i jumped back in 2003. I really didnt see the appeal of it for just regular skydiving, to me it was like sky surfing. cool and difficult at first then its just boring. lol. I could swear there's another video from somebody else of that exact route, but the guy actually drops down and flies the crack. Good thing the balloon holder dove to the ground, he'd probably be missing his head otherwise LOL.

that GoPro setup he has on his head is fucking sketchy as all getout too. To me that's more ballsy/stupid having that kind of contraption on your head with a base rig then flying low with a wingsuit.

From his comment at the end, I don't think he meant to get THAT close, but I he wasn't just lucky to have enough altitude to make it through. If you notice at the end, he pulled up and leveled off quite a bit, which leads me to believe that he has more control than just calculating the rate of decent, and hoping for the best.
