I beelieve that's an insect of sorts with wings and a stinger. The yellow and black might confirm its part of the charlus brownus family; but the stripes should be zig-zags. Another family it might belong to is the honeynuttlious cherrious. Either way be careful.

Looks like the first one. The bee removal "expert" is supposed to come today, and he said if they're Africanized, he'll kill them and remove the hive, and if they're regular honey bees he will try to relocate them. Either way, I'm sure it's going to cost me a shit-ton of money. Hopefully the hive and honeycomb aren't too big, yet. I mean, it's only been a week since we started noticing them.

If they aren't Africanized, he should "relocate" them for free. The reason I put "relocate" is because he will probably sell them. They are in huge demand these days.

Agreed. Removal is usually free because they are wanted. If not, use someone else.
