That's exactly what happened to me in kindergarten.

I watched a couple of their videos and they're pretty damn funny. Check out the NBA Jam video if you haven't already.

I noticed other problems in Elementary and Jr High but what finally brought it to light was in High School. Before that I really only had issues with it in geography and history, when looking at maps in the textbook with color coded keys. There were always 2, sometimes 3 that I had difficulty differentiating. I remember I would get mad "why do they make the damn colors so close together", meanwhile other kids in class saw them fine.

So in High School I was in a psychology class and an art class. In art we started working with watercolors and had to blend and transition colors. I, of course, had alot of trouble with that. Then, a couple of days in, we were discussing perception in psychology. The book had a couple of the test panels and I was like "I can't see shit!". I mentioned it to the art teacher, who had someone pull me out to test me. Sure enough...

The cool thing is that my art teacher exempted me from watercolors going forward. I just did charcoal drawings while the rest of the class did watercolors.

I was expecting a blog with entirely green and red print.

1, 3 and 4 look pretty much the same to me (the blue may be a bit darker). The "red" looks darker in 2.

2 and 3 look the same to me. 1 has brighter red stripes.

I almost feel sorry for you poor blind bastards now, that actually explains more about how colorblind people see than anything else in this thread.

2 & 3 looks the same. 4 has a deeper "blue". 1 has brighter blue and red.

I'm partial, myself. Some reds & greens I can see, some I can't.

Mom discovered it when I had some assignment in elementary school. We were to go through magazines/catalogs and cut out items that were "brown", "orange", etc. When it came to green, she said I was driving her nuts because I kept going past green items.

Remember, blame your mom for colorblindness. Though women hardly ever get colorblind, they're the genetic carrier that gives it to the boys. My grandpa (her dad), was totally red-green colorblind.

You and I basically have the same vision then. My uncle is colorblind as well, he can't tell the difference between gold and red.

Nothing sucks more than wiring a car stereo when you are color blind.

True story. I have one brother with it too. We got it from my mom's dad. He was pretty close to fully colorblind.
