Partially, i can tell something is supposed to be there but ive got to concentrate to figure it out. Knowing what it is supposed to say helps, but it doesnt jump off the screen even then. You are an asshole, so no worries

Holy shit I didn't know we had a lot of colorblind people on the board. I have a friend that is colorblind and can't see green or red either. I didn't find out till we were playing startcraft 2 and I was telling him to go kill red... well he said idk where the fuck red is. Then I started to get pissed, and thats when he told me LOL.

Color blindness is the white man's sickle cell.. I've said it a number of times.

I also have a red / green color deficiency. I can slightly make out the color differences in the pic that Grove Rat posted (Don has the t-shirt) but not enough to easily read what is there. The last time I took a color vision test I saw like 4 of the 16 or so.

I'm "blue/green color deficient" which really doesn't mean shit. I can't tell the difference between very similar shades of blue/green and I fail the fuck out of those dot tests.

heh, I do the same and when I first came to Texas with the horizontal lights I was all messed up. Only had vertical lights in the past. At night is tricky with the blinking lights though...not sure if red or yellow.

Yeah, we have the same issue. I loathe the single blinking light.

Add me to the red/green deficient group. I've hated this shit all of my life. I always get the same questions as seen in that damn video, which is pretty fucking funny. I would like to visit this place though... http://www.colormax.org/
Seems they now have glasses/contact lenses that will improve the deficiency drastically. I wonder if insurance would cover something like that?

I try to avoid telling people I know that I'm colorblind, because it's god-damned fucking INEVITABLE that this shit happens. Every time. Every...fucking...time.

I rember having to get a client to speak to a phone support guy because i couldnt tell if the LED's were amber or green. They were both just bright, couldnt tell at all.

Never met anybody completely colorblind. I have a hard time with greens and yellows and blues and purples.

Good buddy of mine is color blind, he found out when we joined the army together. he couldn't read the color cards... Opps there went his MI job...

My brother is also colorblind and has a hard time with the signal lights that are designed not to be seen until you are right up on them... to him they look like they are off.. first time he stopped at an intersection with those lights, i was like "uhhh its green !" then he continued on and explained to me the problem...

And I can relate with absolutely everything that was said in here so far, as well. The blinking traffic lights, the fucking colorblind hating t-shirt, the blues and purples, and the fact that grove rat is a prick :P

I just tell people I'm not good with colors.
